- How to choose
- The decision turns on two tensions: the colder the case, the more it condenses and dulls the product; the more open it is, the more it consumes. Cooling type — static or ventilated — and defrost mode therefore directly determine how products look at the end of the day.
- Integration
- An enclosed case and an open case differ in both extraction needs and their effect on room temperature. Position it away from draughts and entrance doors: that single precaution protects consumption more than any other.
Common question — Open or enclosed display case?
Open is easier to serve from and shows the product well; enclosed consumes less and protects the cold chain better. In a high-traffic shop, enclosed is often the better compromise.
