- How to choose
- Working width determines what the machine can produce: it must cover the longest dimension of your finished product, or you will fold what you cannot roll. Beyond that, the minimum achievable thickness separates machines on delicate doughs.
- Integration
- A counter-top sheeter assumes a certain work height and unobstructed access along the whole band length. A floor-standing model frees the bench but occupies floor area — so the choice is about layout as much as about the machine.
Common question — What minimum thickness should I aim for?
It follows from your thinnest product: a tart base or a laminate needs a smaller thickness than pizza dough. Choosing a machine that can go thinner than you need is the safe option.
